Prof Abdullah Öztoprak & Dr. Muhammed Salamah visited An - Najah University in Palestine in March 2013.

There are about 50 higher education institutions with more than 220,000 students in Palestine. Many of our MS/PhD graduates are holding high positions in these institutions.

The activities during the v isit included the signing of an MOU between EMU and An-Najah National University (the largest university in Palestine in Nablus city). An-Najah National

University is also a very high ranking University in the Arab world.

About 10 of the staff members in An-Najah university are our PhD graduates and most of them are in high administrative positions.

In 2011, EMU became an official overseas centre for the University of Warwick MSc Programmes in Engineering Business Management and Supply Chain and Logistics Management.

This intensive one-year programme is run by the world-famous Warwick Manufacturing Group & can be taken entirely on the EMU campus. Courses are delivered by visiting experts from the University of Warwick & students have the opportunity to take two courses in the UK as part of the one year full-time MSc.

We are delighted to congratulate our first graduates: Iman Ziaei, Daniel Akindele & Ronke Akindele for becoming the very first graduates from the EMU centre. All three travelled to the UK in January to receive their diplomas at the University of Warwick graduation ceremony. We were then happy to welcome them back at EMU for our own graduation, where we delivered them with a special certificate of recognition from EMU on their outstanding achievement.

ROBERT MORRIS UNIVERSITY USAThe president of Robert Morris University led a delegation of officials from Robert Morris University on a visit to Cyprus. The purpose of this visit was to further discuss academic collaboration between EMU and RMU. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMEMU is one university that is strongly promoting İnternationalisation. As a result of this policy, EMU has signed several agreements with different universities in order to encourage exchange programs between EMU and other international institutions.

We believe in EMU that education should be without borders and knowledge shouldn’t be politicized or restricted to one group of people.

Just recently, one of EMU’s lecturers went to China to teach English in one of the Universities as an exchange teacher. This semester, we have a Chinese teacher from China who is here in EMU as an exchange teacher to teach Chinese.

ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDANEMU hosted the Vice Rector of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, on a three day visit to EMU from Pakistan. The aim of the visit was to discuss collaborating with EMU for academic purposes. An MOU was signed between both Universities.
