1992 Established to implement Women's Enterprise Management Training Outreach Program (WEMTOP) and provided microenterprise management training to 30 NGOs and reached
over 1,00,000 poor women producers during 1992-96.
2006 Udyogini awarded 'Aga Khan Foundation India Innovation Fund to build handicraft enterprise in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
2009 Selected for Yale University's Global Social Entrepreneurship Program.
2010 Adopted value chain development model to enhance the income of 20,000 rural women.
2012 Udyogini was awarded World Of Difference 100 Award by the International Alliance for Women, Washington DC, USA.
2012 Selected as part of Global Learning Alliance on Agriculture Value Chains and Financial Services.
2014 Udyogini recognized by National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Ministry of Rural Department, Govt of India to deliver extension services for scientific cultivation of Lac to
10000 tribal producers in three districts of Jharkhand.
