1 | Page February 21, 2019 – PTC Locators joined on the 1 st QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL 2019 facilitated by Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC). The activity kicked-off with a ceremonial alarm from Barangay Cabilang Baybay; then in a few minutes, all rescuers from BFP, MDRRMC, Barangays and other association within Carmona immediately deployed at the incident scenario and reported to the Incident Command Center about the fire incident, collapsed structures, and HAZMAT. Rescuers applied their knowledge on the drill and the rescued victims were brought to the Incident Command Center for application of first aid procedure. MDRRMC observed the drill and assessed the different clusters such as health, information management system, rescue and operation, Incident Command Center, Building Assessment, etc. Mr. Artemio Angelada of MDRRMC Carmona, gathered all participants after the event and announced the result of drill evaluation and emphasized that safety should be an individual concern and encouraged the participants of the activity to take the drill not just a mere simulation. Different officials and agencies graced the said activity including Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office , Bureau of Fire Protection-Carmona, Philippine National Police-Carmona, Barangay Cabilang Baybay, Barangay Maduya, Barangay Mabuhay, Local Economic and Investment Promotion Office- Carmona, Manila Southwoods HOA, CARTMO, ACDV and KABALIKAT. FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 2019 Presidential Proclamation No. 115–A, was declared to be the official observation of Fire Prevention Month during the month of March. The Fire Prevention Month is promoted to the public through various fire safety information campaigns and activities. The promotion also greatly influences the public to lessen the fire incident at homes, businesses and offices.

In observance of the advocacy campaign, the SFBO Team actively participated in the various exercise vigilance for more knowledge about fire prevention and safety.

Fire Safety Seminar March 7, 2019 – The group initiated to conduct an Orientation for Hazardous Materials in cooperation with Bureau of Fire Protection of Municipality of Carmona headed by SFO1 ANGELITO R. NICOLAS, Chief Operation. The orientation was conducted to promote employee awareness of hazardous materials and the importance of proper management of these materials. The seminar was participated in by 31 employees from 23 different PTC locators.

7th Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola Fire Olympics March 21, 2019 - The PTC Locators joined in the 7th Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola Fire Olympics Industrial/Commercial Fire Brigade Category held at Carmona Community Center. The competitions were composed of Rescue and Transfer Relay Operation, Combination of Busted Hose and Up-the Ladder and Flammable Liquid Fire Extinguisher. PIGMENTEX, INC. garnered the highest points and was declared as the Champion for Industrial Category, who will compete at the Provincial Level.

March 29, 2019 – The group conducted its 16th FBO Brigade competition. The eight (8) contingents competed in the 3 basic skills, drills and diverse roles performed by firefighters including rescuer and first aider.

The competition was supported by Bureau of Fire Protection-Carmona headed by SFO1 ANGELITO NICOLAS as judge of the

event. After the speed relay competition the top 3 teams proclaimed as the winners.

This competition aimed to promote the development on the preparedness in response to the real situations in the community.

HR TEAM Activities DOLE Orientation on DO 198-18 February 7, 2019 - To further spread awareness on the newly-approved OSH Law to the companies, the HR Team conducted an orientation on D.O. 198-18 headed by Engr. Joseph Gacosta - Senior Labor & Employment Officer. The objectives of the orientation are to further strengthen the advocacy on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), to increase the compliance in OSH standards, and to establish safety culture in the workplace

Learning Session for Health and Wellness “IMPORTANCE OF HYDRATION” March 28, 2019 – Hydration is always a big topic during the summer months. The HR Team conducted a learning session for proper hydration in cooperation with Otsuka-Solar Phils., Inc. headed by Dr. Rustico Junio, President of Phil. Academy Family Physician.

During the session, it was discussed that the Human body is filled with BODY FLUIDS for Nutrients, Vitamins & Minerals, Oxygen & Metabolism; the causes of loss body fluids such as Sensible loss like working out, Outdoor Activities and Playing and, Insensible loss such as working in an air-conditioned room and sleeping. Keeping the body hydrated helps the heart more easily pump blood through the blood vessels to the muscles. And, it helps the muscles work efficiently.

consistent involvement in activities and constant support to the mission and vision of the Association. This award is given to honor the locators and to recognize their contributions to the community from their excellence in responsible sponsorship, corporate compassion and community outreach. The award was received by Mr. Roselo Servinas PCO and Section Head, Ms. Jennifer Soriano OIC, HRA Dept Head and Mr. Bernice Dela Cruz, HRA Division Head together with PTCLAI Board of Trustees- Ressie D. Santiago, Director-External Affairs, Mr. Edgar de Jesus, President, Mr. Jonathan Chua, Director-Infrastructure, and Mr. Antonio Dacalos,

Director-Internal Affair and Ms. Christy Salvador, Executive Officer.

UNVEILING CEREMONY of 2 Waiting Shed March 27, 2019 – Rotary Club of Carmona (Rotary International District 3810) commenced the unveiling ceremony of the two (2) waiting sheds alongside the Governor’s Drive infront of People’s Technology Complex & BCPI. The event was witnessed by Hon. Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola, Mr. Ranillo A. Salenga, President of Rotary Club and its officers and members, PTCLAI Board of Trustees headed by Mr. Edgar P. de Jesus-President, Officers from ROHM Electronics Phils., Inc. (REPI), Pro Board Technology Services Corp. (PBTS) & RCBC of Carmona. These waiting sheds will be a great help to the commuters, particularly to the PTC Employees as a shelter against sunrays and rain.

During the event, PTCLAI, REPI & PBTS received a plaque of appreciation as a token of profound gratitude for being a PLATINUM SPONSOR to the Rotary Club of Carmona thru the “Building Partnership for Community Service”.

PEZA Orientation

January 22, 2019 – Ms. Letty O. Natividad, PTC-SEZ OIC-Zone Manager conducted an orientation to PEZA locators. The orientation aimed to familiarize PEZA registered enterprises on the PEZA operations and processes, for better understanding of the movements of goods and its requirements, to provide smooth flow and avoid delay in every transactions.

On that day, the association created the IMPEX Team and elected their officers. The Team will be handled by Mr. Antonio Dacalos, the Director-in-charge. The Team’s objective is to strengthen cooperation, coordination, and communication concerning import/export transactions and other related issues concerning PEZA and BOC.
