Emotional Intelligence (EI)

It is NOT about being nice all the time.. …. it is about being honest with yourself and others.

It is NOT about being “touchy feely”…. It is about being aware of your emotions and those of others.

It refers to emotional management skills which

provide competency to balance emotions and reason so as to maximize long term happiness.

Emotional Intelligence (EI)

Effective Relationships: it’s about interacting with people successfully.

Empathy : it’s about being able to see from another person’s perspective.

Self-Motivation : it’s about directing the power of your emotions towards a purpose which will motivate and inspire us.

Self-Regulation: it’s about regulating our feelings and emotions and managing them so they do more good than harm.

Self- Awareness: it’s about knowing ourselves and our feelings, so we can in turn know others’.
