Interviews of some of our members

• Not really well known by the private sector

• Based in the country

• Good collaboration with the governments & public administration (but not enough)

• Have to be really independent from governmentsand NGOs

• Processes are different between IOs (calibration isneeded)

Independent Observers

Page 18: Emmanuel Groutel_1.pdf

• A kind of competition between Governments and NGO approaches

• Good if there is an international organization thatcan be of help

• Some IOs are not sufficiently skilled

• Results are not clear

• Good to highlight what works well

• Different relationship with big (=legal) and small(=informal / illegal) players
