Emma McPartlan Event Coordinator Event Management Profile Emma comes to ICMSA aſter working in special and challenging events in London, England where she focused on more corporate Gala Dinners and a major charity fun run through the streets of central London. Emma’s role at ICMSA entails her focusing on the markeng and program side of events; from coordinang the well-read e-zines, sparking conference interest on social media and helping commiees to build a strong and well organised program for all delegates. Within her role she also assists keenly with helping to make all travel arrangements for conference keynote speakers, using her well-versed customer service skills to ensure they feel happy and prepared for their journey to and me spent at the conference. Emma also took on the challenging project of helping ICMSA find and implement virtual conferencing soluons during the COVID-19 pandemic, successfully helping to organise and arrange pre-recording online, studio recording and live online sessions for an 11 stream, 1,400pax Conference that had to be moved in mere months to be completely virtual. Emma previously studied and received degrees in both Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, which has taught her to be an excellent communicator. She also has adapted to a broad range of communicaon and problem-solving styles, which she can seamlessly tailor to suit her audience. These are all skills which she implements in her day to day role as Events Coordinator. Emma has a keen interest in AFL, musicals, cheerleading and her dog, all of which play a major role in her life outside of the office.
