EMB CALABARZON Conducted Cross-Country Visit at Environmental Solutions Pte., Ltd.-Singapore The cross-country visit was conducted on July 17-20, 2015 intended to share the best practices and management of the proponent’s facility, its adaptation to international standard and its strict compliance to various International and Environmental Laws. Moreover, the objective of the cross-country visit is to further strengthen the Public Partnership Program (PPP), a vehicle for economic and technical advancement of both countries particularly in the area of optimal conservation and utilization of resources. This activity will likewise be in addition to the usual cultural resources consultations of the company with the different concerned agencies across the world. Finally, the activity will likewise facilitate the company to gather information for a visual resources analysis and an opportunity to help all understand other agencies concerns which may not fit easily into its normal cultural resources analysis. The company manages all local and international documentation (i.e. Basel
Convention) in-house, taking care of environmental authorities, customs and the like.
Its strict acceptance criteria for spent resources Packaging Type, Hazard
Classification and Communication ensure a safe journey from the source to its facility
in Tuas, Singapore for processing. Hazardous materials are marked with the correct
hazard communication labels and packaged in appropriate receptacles according to
the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) codes or the local equivalent.
The company is ISO 14001 certified to carry out the operations to harvest Base and
Precious Metals.

Environmental Solutions Pte., Ltd., occupies a 9,000 square meters located at 62 Tuas
South Street, Singapore. The facility is currently under construction with minimal
equipments and half operational during the visit. Several bags containing Sludge
(already treated) properly packed and stored were noted in the area. Old scrubber was
likewise seen ready for disposal at the facility. It was informed that the scrubber shall
be replaced upon arrival of the new one that is for delivery two weeks from the visit.
