Celebration
•It is tradition for Puerto Ricans to learn dances for Emancipation Day. The dances are the Plena and the Bomba. They also study their history and honor famous black Civil Rights Leaders. Communities in the entire island get together with family to sing, dance, feast, and rejoice.
