Independence: What do the police need to help you? How do we communicate with those around us? What is appropriate communication? Understanding the World: Where do we live? What is great about our city? PSHE: It’s ok to feel angry but what helps us feel calm? Physical Development: Let’s do some creative PE. Animal Game This week, you are going to use your bodies to move like animals. Ask the members of your family to join in with you. First, have a look at this ‘Animals in Action’ Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYPTJj6hd44 Now, let’s play a game….. You Will Need:
• A Dice (if you do not have a dice, use the template to make your own dice) Instructions:
1. Take it in turns to roll the dice 2. Count the dots 3. If you land on:
1 - Stomp like an Elephant
2 - Walk on your tip toes and flap your arms like a Butterfly
Where do we live? We all live in or near Leicester and our city is important to us. Can you find out where Leicester is on this map?
Police Can you sort the equipment a police officer would need?
Look at the personal space poster. Think about who is allowed into your personal space.
Match the appropriate greetings to the person by drawing a line
Can you follow the rules and practice greeting people in your family?
Emotions We all have times when we feel big emotions. Its ok to feel angry but it is so important to know what to do when we feel like that. What should we do if we feel angry? What helps you feel calm?
