THERMIC FLUID VS. STEAM :
A thermic fluid (hot oil) is a closed loop circulation system with minimum pressure. “Elite” thermic fluid
osystems can reach up to 345 C which makes them an ideal choice for many process heat applications. The selection of either a steam system or a thermic fluid system is governed by the process requirements. The range of application process temperature required is the key deciding factor. If the application process requires temperature
oabove the freezing point of water (0 C) & below o
approximately 200 C, steam system is usually selected. However if the application process
orequires temperature above 200 C, thermic fluid system may be a better solution.
APPLICATIONS :
“Elite” thermic fluid heaters have applications in many industries. Chemical processing, petroleum, lubricants, rubber articles manufacturing, plastic, pharmaceutical, food & bio-fuel production are only few of the many other existing application industries utilizing “Elite” thermic fluid heaters

Horizontal 3 pass design
Pre-heated combustion air is an integral part of the design
Output range from 1500000 kcal/hr to 2500000 kcal/hr
oOperating temperatures up to 345 C
Fully automatic, oil, gas or dual fuel burners with modulating mechanism
High thermal efficiency of 88%
Even heating
The combustion air enters through the fan inlet, travels through the space between the shell & the outer jacket, gets pre-heated & enters the front mounted burner
Hot flue gases travel the full length of the vessel creating the first (radiant) pass
The flue gases then travel backwards through the space between the inner coil & the outer coil creating the second (convection) pass
The third (convection) pass is through the space between the outer coil & the shell to the flue gas outlet

Vertical 3 pass design
Pre-heated combustion air is an integral part of the design
Output range from 50000 kcal/hr to 1000000 kcal/hr
oOperating temperatures up to 345 C
Fully automatic, oil, gas or dual fuel burners; ON – OFF or with modulating mechanism
High thermal efficiency of 88%
Even heating
The combustion air enters through the fan inlet, travels upwards through the space between the inner shell & the outer shell, gets pre-heated & enters the top mounted burner
Hot flue gases travel down the full length of the vessel creating the first (radiant) pass
The flue gases then travel upwards through the space between the inner coil & the outer coil creating the second (convection) pass
The third (convection) pass is downwards through the space between the outer coil & the inner shell to the flue gas outlet

Models with maximum heat outputs higher than those mentioned can be designed, manufactured & supplied upon specific request
Models with maximum temperatures of thermic fluid at the outlet of the units higher than those mentioned can be designed, manufactured & supplied upon specific request
oThe maximum thermic fluid flow rate is mentioned considering the minimum thermic fluid temperature rise of 37 C
Fuel consumption figures are mentioned with following net calorific values (NCV) of fuels as basisLDO 10100 kcal/kgFO 9650 kcal/kgLPG 10750 kcal/kgNG 9000 kcal/kg
The connected electrical load of circulation pump motor is mentioned considering the minimum thermic fluid temperature rise of o37 C & 50 m head available at the outlet of the unit
The fuel pre-heater is thermic fluid cum electric type, so the connected electrical load mentioned for fuel pre-heater is applicable only for start-up operation
The MOC for the coil & the headers shall be BS 3059 ERW Boiler Quality tubes, the coil & the headers with the MOC as ASTM A 106 Gr. B Seamless pipes can be supplied on specific request
Specifications & dimensions are approximate. Consult manufacturer for model specific requirements
Operating specifications may change based on site conditions
