The ElfoLift is an unbeatable classic that regularly outsells all other platform lifts in Italy (Source: EPSA). It is the market leader in luxury home elevators, designed to provide style, value, quality, reliability and affordability.

As the best-selling swing door lift in Italy, it has been modified to suit the needs of the Australian market. It features a larger, stronger motor and enhanced computer controls to ensure it easily and smoothly accelerates to its large full-load (five people) ascending speed of 0.30m/s, (which is as fast as Australian laws currently allow).

This makes Lift Shop’s ElfoLift unique, because of its level of comfort and efficiency. Other lifts with single speed control devices simply cannot achieve the same speed while providing a smooth journey.

In addition to its functionality, architects and designers alike love the ElfoLift because it has minimal spacial impact, yet offers maximum flexibility when it comes to design and sizing.

Designed and made in Italy to the very highest international standards, and sold exclusively by Lift Shop Australia wide, ElfoLift customers won’t ever find a depreciating rubber trim holding their lift cabin together as happens with other budget lift products. The ElfoLift is supplied with all the hallmarks of a genuine luxury home lift – stainless steel profiles and trims are just the beginning.

ElfoLift’s interiors and landing doors are sized and styled to suit the specific requirements of individual projects, and with an almost infinite range of configuration possibilities, the only limitation is your imagination.

ELFOLIFT®

ELFOLIFT® 2Thanks to a significant change to the European Directives/Manufacturing standard issued by the EU authorities in 2010, Italian lift manufacturers are now permitted to install sliding doors on platform lift products. Our exclusive ElfoLift partner Elevatori Premontati, based in Pisa, has been among the first to incorporate this exciting new feature into its design.

Lift Shop is pleased with this industry advancement and is thrilled to now deliver ElfoLift 2 with doors that slide open and closed at the push of a button, to the Australian market. ElfoLift 2 is evolutionary and further proof of our technical leadership.

LIFT SHAFTS

Lifts require a shaft in which to run. It is built by a builder or supplied by the lift company.

MASONRY SHAFTSConcrete, brick or block shafts are usually built into the building as part of the construction process (190mm thick load bearing walls is common). They are preferred by customers who want the lift to “blend in”. They usually require a bigger total outside shaft footprint due to the thickness of the concrete walls and may be slightly cheaper in a new building situation. Remember “total project cost”.

When you place an ElfoLift in a concrete shaft, then it is recommended that you paint and render the inside of the shaft on the door opening walls. It is a requirement that this wall be smooth and flat.

STEEL SHAFTSWhere an elegant and impressive or observation effect is required to the entire outside of the lift shaft, then lift shafts are often purchased in addition to the lift. The steel shafts have a smaller outside footprint due to the 50mm thick load bearing structure so are also popular for situations with limited space. Steel and glass shafts are extremely popular where a functional light well or architectural effect is desired.

The steel shafts look sensational, and are designed to impress our most discerning customers.

Steel shafts are also very quick to install as they are modular, designed to be carried in through a normal door opening, they do not require roof removal or crane, and sustain their own loads. Naturally, it is one less thing for the builder to do.

The doors and jambs supplied and installed by Lift Shop are available in a range of finishes and styles.

The internal hollow spaces within the doors contain the safety locks (both electrical and mechanical), the hidden within jamb self-closers and the call buttons.

The style and size is to suit your needs so make your selection from our extensive range.

DOOR SIZESThe jambs are usually 100mm - 125mm wide and the doors are usually 2000mm high with a further 100mm - 125 mm jamb above. For example, a door with 850mm wide x 2000mm high clear opening is usually contained in a jamb that is 1050mm wide by 2100mm high.

The doors range from 650mm wide to 1100mm wide in 50mm step increments. Other sizes and options are also available.

what is the difference - swing vs sliding doorsWith the introduction of the ElfoLift 2 in 2011, you now have the choice of either swing or sliding doors, and the difference is simple....

Swing Doors:Built into the wall of the shaft, like a regular door, while sliding doors are designed to slide into a cavity in the shaft.

More space efficient, as they manually open, rather than automatically slide across, they cost less and require less headroom.

Can blend in well, match the other doors in the property, and may be better suited to residential properties, depending on the desired look.

Sliding Doors:Allows for small space requirements outside the lift and provides ease-of-use with an automatic opening and closing function.

The safety of swing and sliding doors is equivalent and both variations are approved by authorities in Italy and Australia.

The popular light weight natural anodised aluminium framed doors

contain glass infill panels . The glass can be frosted, white, tinted or

clear.

SAFETY AND SECURITYLift Shop recognises that safety is paramount and has a perfect safety record and will not use single or triple beam sensors. Full-height light rays are the only safe solution for automatic lifts (as per the European directives).

design and performance Before a lift becomes available to market it has to pass rigorous qualification criteria and tests and must be design registered with our Australian regulatory authorities.

As a leading European lift product, the ElfoLift easily met or exceeded the requirements of the Australian standard, and that is why it is today installed in thousands of locations around the country and throughout the world.

The ElfoLift is a proven Italian integrated and complete lift package with a two speed hydraulic drive system. Hydraulics are a common technology and known to be serviceable, of good value and reliable.

The ElfoLift runs on nylon sliders and rollers ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride on precision engineered guide rails.
