We are Safe We are Respectful We are Focused ELERMORE ENDEAVOUR Term 1 Week 6 8 th March 2019 Dear Parents and Carers, Today marks the end of the first half of Term 1 for 2019 and what a magnificent six weeks it has been. This week Ellie the Eagle returned to draw our first lucky winners of our PBL raffle. To be in the running to win the weekly prize students must be “caught” displaying our PBL core values of Safe, Focus and/or Respect by one of our staff. The students then put their name on their Gotcha ticket and return it to their stage nest. We draw out one lucky winner from each stage every week. Once the nests are full of tickets, all students in the stage are able to participate in a fun reward activity, as voted on by the students. This week, the students are providing the PBL committee with their recommendations for activities. There have been some interesting suggestions so far, including: pyjama day, extra play time, popcorn and movie day, teachers wear a wig day, Ellie visits classrooms, technology day, crazy hair day, ice blocks and water play. We look forward to seeing what the students decide. Congratulations to Elijah, Nathan, Milla and Eileen for being our very first winners. Meet the Teacher Thank you to all of the families who came along on Wednesday afternoon to meet the teachers. If you were not able to make it on Wednesday and you would like to meet your child’s teacher for 2019, please contact the office to make an appointment.
