What are the Elements of Art?
✤ The Elements of Art are the tools that we use when trying to achieve the principles of art...
✤ You may notice some differences between the elements used in our
class and the elements used in other classes. That’s ok. Elements are used differently in 2D visual arts than they are in 3D visual arts.

✤ Line is a path made by a moving point
✤ Can vary in length, width, direction, curvature, value and color
✤ Types of lines are horizontal, vertical, diagonal, curved and zig zag
✤ Leading lines are especially used as a tool in film
