The Downers Grove Township Highway Department will continue to offer monthly electronic recycling in cooperation with E-WASTE SOLUTIONS in 2020. All TV’s and computer monitors will need to have a prepaid coupon from E-WASTE to be accepted. Prices for TV’s and monitors range from fifteen dollars to sixty dollars and a copy of the coupon can be taken to E-WASTE’s retail store in Glendale Heights to be used as cash towards the purchase of refurbished electronic equipment. (We do not accept audio or video cassettes or CD’s for recycling.) Prices Prices for recycling TV’s/monitors and coupon purchases can be obtained by going to E-WASTE’s website at www.escrap.org/downers-grove-township.html and fillout the form in the bottom portion of the screen. Prices are set by E-WASTE and are subject to change without notice. Our first event of 2020 is on January 18th, and will run from 8 am – 12 pm at the Township Highway Garage, 318 East Quincy Street, Westmont IL 60559. Other events will follow on the third Saturday of each month at the same time and location, unless that date falls on a holiday weekend. As always the events close promptly at noon and electronics can only be dropped off on event dates. Drop o Drop offs out side of designated hours are not allowed.
