(Received I I Drcdt~r 1984 ; in revi.& form 20 Scplember 1985) Abstract-The analysis of elasto-plastic plate bending using a boundary integral equation for- mulation is described. The integral equations are solved using standard boundary element techniques. The plasticity, as well as the external lateral load, appears in a domain integral. The solution is obtained by an incremental loading procedure with the initial incremental plastic moments calculated by an iterative method. Several study cases are examined and good agreement is shown with published results obtained by the finite element method.
