• The Natural Park of Delta de l’Ebro is located on the region of Montsia at the river mouth Ebro.

THE WILDLIFE• The Ebro Delta is a paradise for all migratory birds and

brings together some of the breeding colonies of the most important seabirds in the Mediterranean.

THE VEGETATION• The most common plants are: the white

nymphaea, the cakile maritima, sosa de flor, boves, sisques bordes...

• All these animals live in ponds and springs.

• The Ebro Delta basically cultivates rice. Practically all the extension is covered by rice fields.

• It is also very important crops fruits (especially citrus fruits) and vegetables.

GASTRONOMY• The local cuisine is rich and

varied and take advantage of the abundant natural resources of the delta (hunting, fishing, agriculture).

• Some typical plates in Ebro Delta are: the black rice, the rice a banda, the fideuà, the frog legs, eel in juice, wild duck...
