Follow this pattern in order to write the date:
Hoy es el # de mes de año.
Example:Hoy es el ocho (#) de febrero (mes) de 2013 (año).
Use “primero” to say the first of the month.
Example: Hoy es el primero de febrero de 2013. (Feb 1st)
Practice reading the date:1. Hoy es el diez de marzo de 2013.
(2013 = dos mil trece)

3. Mañana sera el treinta de enero de 2013.
