WHY ANEMERSON KNIFE?It may mean many dierent things to many people, but Ill tell you what it means to

me. An Emerson Knie is a tool with an edge on it, nothing more-nothing less. Ive neverdesigned or built them to be anything else. But I did design and build them to be some-thing you could use orever and maybe pass on to your grandson when hes old enoughto carry a knie.Some people say; Its not pretty enough. Its not ancy enough. Its not highly nished.Those o you that have known us rom the beginning, know that I never set out to buildhighly nished, ancy knives. I didnt set out to build a Rolex or a Mercedes Benz. I setout to build a Chevy. One that you could build, rebuild, beat, race and x in your owngarage. In that, I think Ive done a pretty good job.Ive built 3 houses and remodeled about a hal dozen. I own a stanley hammer that wasmy Grandathers. It built dozens o houses and dozens o barns that are still standing.Its driven 10s o thousands o nails and is good or 10s o thousands more. Its beat up.Its a little rusty and the leather handle is beat and cut. I do not care how it looks. I onlycare that it does its job and does it well. I will give it to my son when he decides to buildhis own house. I own a 1967 Chevy Camaro with a 350 engine that Ill give to him whenhe earns it. Ill also give him my knives.I you want a highly polished, pretty olding knie (made in China) then you are lookingat the wrong catalog. Emerson Knives are not or you. I you want the best designed

The more that I handle this knie, themore Im thinking this is one o mybest designs. Just like a choppedHarley, this knie is low slung andready to roar. It eels like youve justdropped the clutch and its tryingto jump out o your hand. And justlike a Harley, youve got to have aRock n Roll, Outlaws soul to carrya Roadhouse. I a chopper could bea knie it would be the Roadhouse.This is a bad to the bone ghter witha Rebels soul and a Rock n Roll at-titude that cannot be tamed. Ive always loved Bowie Knives. I made aBowie style older about 25 years ago inmy Garage days. I probably made onlyabout 4 or 5 custom versions back then,but the design o that knie has alwaysremained one o my personal avorites.Well, I nally resurrected the design and,with a ew minor changes, it became theCQC-13. Pick one up and you will know whyI have always loved this knie. The heavilycontoured grip locks into your hand likeit was custom made just or you. Andthe blade - oh the blade - Hell, its a big,bad American Bowie. Need I say more?The Bowie knie was a dominant orcein Americas history. Tough, rugged andindependent, the Emerson Combat Bowiedenitely lives up to that legacy.


The CQC-15 and its new little buddy, the Mini-CQC-15 are one helluva couple. Featuring the piercing point o the CQC-7 and the grace-ul cutting eciency o the Commander - this is what you get with the CQC-15.
