Bati Agriculture
The scope of Bati Agriculture
Investments (“Bati Agriculture”)
which operates in Denizli, is
consolidating cultivable land and
seasonal planting.
Bati Agriculture reached
approximately 120 hectares within
the scope of the cultivable land
development project and the land
development efforts are still
continuing in the area.
The objective of Bati Agriculture is
contributing to regional
development and economy by
enhancing prosperity and
employment in the region while
providing long term returns to its
shareholders.
In this context, our endeavors
continue for consolidating
uncultivated land and bringing them
in the agricultural economy.
Materializing infrastructure
investments on uncultivated lands
purchased for consolidation, Bati
Agriculture efficiently implements
the right technology. The Company is
aiming to bring these lands into the
economy by choosing the proper
crops suitable for the region.
The required infrastructure
investments for the purchased lands
were made in line with the data
obtained from the analysis which
took place in the consolidated
region and also seasonal crop
plantation was carried out in line
with the regional product range.
Company’s target is to increase the
size of the land.
Senyayla Sheep Farm
The operations of Senyayla Farm
are; raising dairy sheep for its
milk and raising meat sheep for
slaughter, as well as selling
mature & fertile sheep -of both
dairy and meat kind- in Denizli
region. Bati Agriculture realized
this farm investment,
approximately for TL 4.8 million.
For the first phase of investment
Bati Agriculture was found eligible
for grant of TL 1.6 million to use
in investment of dairy sheep farm
in July 2013, within the scope of
European Union Instrument for
Pre-accession Assistance for
Rural Development (IPARD), a
program announced and
managed by the Agriculture and
Rural Development Support
Institution (TKDK) and supported
by European Union (EU).
With the grant taken, the
Company started its construction
and infrastructure investments in
the fastest manner. It completed a
huge investment within a very
short period of time which can be
considered a record, at a location
10 km far from the closest
residential area. The facilities was
constructed on a land of
approximately 40 decares and
completed five months after
announcement of the grant, in
December 2013. Installation of
the equipment was completed in
January 2014. The Company
started its operations at the end
March 2014 as planned, with the
purchase of the first batch of 300
sheep.
On the farm land, there exist 6
barns each with a capacity of
either 300 sheep or 600 lambs,
feed and silage storage, milk
production facilities, an
administrative building,
shepherd’s house, veterinary
office and social facility.

Doga Tarim Hayvancilik Gida
Pazarlama San. ve Tic. A.S.
(“Doga Agriculture”) which was
founded on September 2010
joined EGC Agri Capital when
90.05% of its shares were taken
over in June 2012.
The Company utilizes its high
technology and infrastructure to
produce high quality and healthy
disease free milk in conformity
with EU standards from imported,
high yield bearing animals.
Possessing a license for
comprising 600 wet cows; Doga
Agriculture is holding a Certificate
for Free from Infections and also
Environmental Impact
Assessment (EIA) Report. Doga
Agriculture is an approved dairy
farm by the Ministry of Food,
Agriculture and Livestock for milk
and dairy product exports to the
European Union.
Doga Agriculture has a herd
capacity of 1,200; its cow capacity
is 700, pregnant heifer capacity is
225, heifer and calves capacity is
225 and male livestock capacity
is 50.
Besides from barns, Doga
Agriculture has also an infirmary
and delivery room, a milking area,
an administrative building, folder
storages, corn silage area,
manure pits, walking areas,
commodity storage in the farm.
The Company completed pre-mix
feed production line in August
2015 and is currently evaluating
livestock breeding project for 300
animals.
Among the medium term
investment plans, there is a plan
to build a facility similar to the
existing plant, with 700 wet cow
capacity on the lands available
but not currently in use.
Tolina Organic Dairy Farm
In October 2012 EGC Agri Capital
acquired 43.57% of the shares of
Tolina Tarim Hayvancilik Gida
San. ve Tic. San. A.S. (“Tolina
Agriculture”), which was founded
in Bayindir township of Izmir with
a capacity of 500 — wet and dry
cows 250, pregnant heifers 125,
heifers and calves 100, male
livestock 24 — by Hacaloglu Tarim
Hayvancilik ve Turizm Yatirimları
San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. which stopped
its operations between 2007 and
2011. After becoming
shareholder of Tolina Agriculture,
the modernization works for the
reoperation of the establishment
were completed and the required
investments for the commercial
operations were completed. 194
pregnant heifers were imported
in January 2013.
Tolina Agriculture is holding a
Certificate for Plants Free from
Disease and Infections and
Certificate for EU Alignment.
Tolina Agriculture completed
organic feed procurement as of
November 2014 and the organic
feeding required for organic
certification started. The
certification process is completed in
August 2015 and Tolina Agriculture
started to supply organic milk as of
August 2015.
Tolina Agriculture is the only EU
approved, organic certified, disease-
free milk farm in Turkey. In terms of
production it ranks in top three.
