A decentralised system routes DC power generated by the solarpanels through more than one inverter. This architecture maybe the best choice for PV systems which incorporate panels ofdifferent brands or technical characteristics, or use mismatchedgenerators. The Schneider Electric Conext XWSystem* is the ideal solution for grid-interactive and off-grid single-phase, split-phase, and three-phase applications. Mostapplications use solar arrays, but a windgenerator, micro-hydro generator, and/ora fuel generator can also be incorporatedinto the system.

The grid interactive functionality allowsexcess energy that is generated to beexported to the grid, and allows the gridto act as an additional energy source
