Difficulties of Off-line/on-site training

- Off-line or On-site training isn’t accessible by the majority of undergraduate students

- Convincing professors of the importance of the training

- High existing demands pressures on undergraduate time

Conclusions

- This survey results indicated that current on-line

training course might have little or no effect.

- The way forward should be to re-evaluate the

effectiveness of the online training courses as well as

the relevance of mandatory training length.

- Rather, mainstreaming lab safety training into lab

courses may be a better alternative for undergraduates.
