if possible ask audience too . Define the take away / objective
clearly. Set the audience expectation. Communicate your message / know
how effectively.

Voice ModulationVoice Modulation Niether memorize nor read the slides Speak short and simple english in
proper pace. Emphasize on important points. Repeat the take away ( As a speaker
you may think you are repeatig too much , not audience).
Confirm audience understanding. Never use double negatives. Use examples, ask audience to give
more examples.

Eye contactEye contact
Maintaining eye contact with audience, it will bring confidence.
Do not stare on any particular person.
Move your eyes around the hall. Poor eye contact means “you are not
interested”.

Be neatly, fomally dressed. (Women avoid glass bangles and large earings)
Stand straight. Use meaningfull gestures and
positive posturs. Do not put your hands in pockets
/back side/ hips. Do not lean or stand crossed legs.

Handling question is very important aspect as it judges the speakers’ knowledge on subject.
If you are through take questions on fly, other wise postpone till end.
There may be unrelated questions, any way answer the question with respect and smile.
Listen the question with patience and repeat it to clarify.

question, it will hurt questioner. If you do not an answer. Take note of
