Process Goal - This focuses on technique and practice - what a performer has to do to be successful. Often this means breaking down skills and practicing them in parts e.g. Practice a sprinting technique
Performance Goals – This is the focus on how they are going to win allowing to judge and compare performance with others, and own performers e.g. Beating your PB.
Outcome Goals – This is related to the end result e.g. winning the competition, reaching elite level. Too much focus on this can lead to a decline in performance.

of a person’s perspective of their own performance. • In doing so, it ensures that both the managers and staff are “on the same
