Developing a Great Proposal• #1: Make reviewing your proposal as easy as possible• Show your passion• Start early, especially when you ask for reference
Strong Fellowship Proposals• What makes a winning fellowship proposal?
– Strong letters of support. Get to know faculty members in your field. Work with them.
– Prior research experience– Publications/presentations: Show you have a
commitment to disseminating your work– Ability to logically define a plan of research– Thorough knowledge of prior work in the field
