This quarter 357 Kids workers have already been trained. 1013 Kids heard the gospel through the on-the-job training and 935 prayed to receive eternal life. H4K: Children learning how to share the Love of Jesus 1 st NATIONAL CONVENTION 18 churches of the Messiah Mission International Ministries (MMIM) are simultaneously implementing the classic EE (Tagalog). Congratulations & Praise the Lord! Joey Bongon of Doha, Qatar wrote: “we are now on our second semester of EE training. There are thirty trainees. In three weeks of actual witnessing, 45 people have already received eternal life in Jesus Christ. All of them are now attending small Bible study groups where they are being nurtured. There are variations to the implementation of the EE ministry. One that stands out is the use of EE as a major tool for planting new congregations. Reverend Rey Bechayda, President of the Messiah Mission International Ministry reported that Evangelism Explosion is a “major tool” that their group uses in planting new churches. MMIM is an eight year old ministry. By the grace of God, thirty congregations are now in existence. The strategy includes sending a group of certified EE trainers to a location previously identified, surveyed and prayed for. For a period of one week or more, the teams go in homes and share the gospel. Discipleship Bible studies using Outreach Bible Studies (OBS) immediately follows. Prior to going, a trained and equipped “volunteer” missionary Pastor is already identified and “sent” to remain in the area to conserve the fruit and take leadership responsibility. The last three recent congregations planted were in Pulilan, Bulacan, Baguio City and in Alaminos, Pangasinan. Sharing the Gospel is still of first importance in church planting, and EE is equipping believers to do just that.
