Edward Toms Army number 14209545 Green Howards (Yorkshire Regiment) He enlisted in the army on the 22nd of February 1942. He served in North Africa, Sicily and was on the invasion of France on 6th June 1944. He was wounded in August 1944 and took no further part in the actual fighting.
