SGPurpose:

– To test IP multicasting & measure network performance to transfer real-time multimedia data between KR and SG

– Acquire & share network technology on multicasting multi-media teleconferencing applications

– Distribute lectures/seminars/training programs (explore IP/TV tools)

Project Delayed by 3 months– TP side had a lot of problems with VIC/VAT

tools (especially on NT, Silicon Graphics)– Decided to go on Sun Platform (Advised that

using video conferencing on Communications & AI between Hanyang & Waseda Univ. (Oct/Nov 1999)

YoungSeok Lee (SNU) suggests that there should be an initiative to conduct course on a regular basis between members

Chair agrees and has already initiated a program called IWE (International Writing Exchange). Proceeds to distribute information and call for participation.

Jaehwa Lee suggests also look at collaborations with APRU projects
