AIM AND PASSION IS TO STUDY MANAGEMENT , then plan early, save a ars of life, enjoy life more and in the process help the nation save on some ources!! BE FREE OF cOMPLEXES... think ahead and get the education that enjoy. . because success comes to t hose who diase their passions... Arindam Chaudhuri ‘ — — — — —— “Oneofthe biggest problemsfacingthe Indian education system isthe lackofclarityamongststude nts in India. Bowing down to unnecessary family pressures , students in India mostly don ’ t try to think what they want in life . Thus, for examp l e, A A MAJOR TREND IS TO MINDLESSLY START PREPARATIONS FOR lIT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS, often as earl y as in class IXth at the cost of undertaking other productive activities; in fact activities around which they could have actuall y built their passions. Resultantly, two categories of students emerge. One, who don’ t make it to the Ills , and think it’ s almost the end of the world for them though nothing can be more ridiculous than that. And second, those who get through! This is a more interesting case study. Every lIT student ’ s education is subsidised by y lacs of rupees by y the state with an obvious hope that they will give back to the nation their engineering prowess. However, a huge proportion of them are later found taking admissions in various MBA courses around the globe. NOTHING CAN BE MORE UNFORTUNATE AND A A BIGGER WASTE OF THE NATION’S RESOURCES. The apparent justification is that engineeñng and MBA make a better combination. Nothing can be a bigger myth. By the time students pass out of an MBA course, in any case, they don ’ t remember much of what they learnt in engineering; and their typical post-MBA career preferences like investment banking, consulting, marketing, advertising, human resources etc clearly reveal that after being exposed to the dynamic and glamorous world of management education , RARELY DOES A A STUDENT EVER WANT A A CAREER It has been observed that MBA education is offered to students of all graduation streams (History, Biology, Geography, Engineering etc.)therefore, making itobviousthat MBA education academically has got nothing to do with graduation. Thus, 11PM has come up with this unique Masters Level Programme in Entrepreneurship at undergraduate l evel. Students in the first year are given a bridge course which enables them to face the more tedious next two years. In the next two years students do the same course that 11PM offers in its Post Graduate level course. THUS , STUDENTS AT AT 11PM DO A A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE IN PLANNING AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP even at an under graduate level. Upon completion ofthecourse students become eligible for an additional BBA degree from an Indian University. However, since the students have actually undertaken a MASTER’ s LEVEL COURSE ,aIl students area lsoe ligib lefora PGDEGREEin BUSINESSADMINIST RATION from IMI , Europe , upon completion of 2 years of work ex. after passing out of 11PM.
