1. EDTC is an Equipment

Educational Technology as a subject area is an equipment to explore more of the teaching profession. Basically, it pertains on the instructional materials that a teacher will use before, during, and after discussion.

Page 22: EDTC PORTFOLIO - TAPIA

2. EDTC for Students

Practically speaking, Educational Technology was created not only for teachers but also for students. It increases the learning proficiency because it stimulates the learner’s behavior.

Page 23: EDTC PORTFOLIO - TAPIA

3. EDTC is a Product of Innovation

More and more inventions are coming along the education system. Beforehand, chalkboards are the best material to impart the topic but nowadays, computers are in tandem with the learning facilitators even with the students to properly facilitate the instruction and learning. And all these would not be possible without development.

4. EDTC is now a Challenge

Lastly, with the advancement of Educational Technology, it is already a huge challenge to handle. Everything must be accompanied with limitations thus “It should be balanced.” (Mr. Danmer Jude Torres)

THE STUDENT AFTER EDTECH

What struck me most in EDTC is the breakdown distribution of percentage on how people remember things:

10% - what they read20% - what they hear30% - what they see50% - what they see and hear70% - what they say and write90% - what they DO.
