We are proud to announce that our partner Speditions-Partner Gmbh - Austria has been awarded with the highest security level TAPA. (level A)
Dear Network Partners: We are taking this opportunity to announce that we will be proud member of NAFl and FIATA from june 2017 onwards. The National Association of Freight and Logistics (NAFL) was founded in Dubai in February 1992 as mandated by the Government of Dubai to respond to the need to bring together the increasing number of freight and logistics service providers in the UAE. NAFL, previously named National Committee of Freight Forwarders (NCFF), is the first national association of freight forwarders to be established in the Arabian Gulf. The NAFL Training Institute was launched in 1995 and from then on has continuously provided programs that aim to increase industry knowledge and skills of the members; expand the horizons of human intellect and overall personality of the training participants;
help improve the quality of work and work-life, and most importantly, help increase the productivity of the members that help their organization further to achieve their business goals. Hand in hand with FIATA, NAFL advocates international logistics-centered conferences for their learning and networking opportunities.
NAFL, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, has hosted the FIATA World Congress twice, in 1999 and 2007.

Changes to electronic House Bills/ eManifest filing for Canada Customs
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has rolled back the implementation of the eHBL filing for single shipments. During this interim phase, the process for electronic house bill requirements for the eManifest program will be modified.
Effective 14th August, 2017, eManifest (electronic house bills) transmission for back to back i.e. single shipments (with one MBL and HBL) will be suspended until further notice.
The Canadian forwarder will not be required to file eManifest for single shipments. Cole International will, no longer require eManifest preparation form for single shipments destined to Canada.
Consolidated shipments containing more than one HBL will continue to be submitted to Canada customs through eManifest filing and will require eManifest preparation form filled out for each of the HBL.
Similarly, a Buyer’s consolidation with multiple vendors/ HBLs destined to one consignee in Canada will require eManifest information provided to Cole offices in advance of departure.
For single shipments with one MBL and one HBL, the origin partner sending shipment/s to Canada must ensure that ACI supplementary is filed by the Origin carrier to Canada customs/ C.B.S.A prior to departure. Without ACI filing, the carrier will not load the cargo on their conveyance. Timeframes for the transmission of supplementary reports remain the same as before. ACI Supplementary reports are transmitted by the primary carrier. We encourage our partners to continue to ensure ACI filing prior to departure. Consolidated shipments transiting Canada will remain exempted from this requirement during this period.

When news broke of an iceberg weighing a staggering trillion tons with an area of 2,239 sq. miles (5,800 sq. km), making it roughly the size of Delaware or the size of Wales, there was concern about its effect on shipping lanes. Fortunately the West Antarctic ice shelf is rapidly melting away because of 435mph winds.Strong gusts from the eastern coast are driving waves of warm water towards the ice, which is now melting at a faster rate than once believed, according to scientists.
