Edition 13: 11 th December 2020 Message from the Headteacher – Mrs John Thank you to all our parents for their feedback on the new Stanborough Logo. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and I appreciate that so many families felt that this change was needed to reflect the ambition we have for every one of our students. This week we have also been able to safely open our canteen to allow our students to enjoy the Christmas season! Our students in Year 7, 8 and 9 have been able to enjoy Christmas dinner as a year group bubble and we look forward to welcoming the older year groups next week. As you are aware, year group bubbles have their own areas during break and lunch and this has worked very well. As a result, we have worked with our catering contractor and are going to reintroduce a catering service again, when we return in January. Please do refer to the letter that was sent out on the 27 th of November or alternatively refer to the letters section of our website. Thank you again for all your support, for the positive feedback as well as the constructive feedback to move our school forward. I am always reassured that parents feel confident to reach out to me to discuss issues that they feel strongly about. Without this feedback from our parents as a key stakeholder, we will not be able to move forward as a school. I thank our parents personally for this. Message from the Headteacher – Mrs John
Thank you to all our parents for their feedback on the new Stanborough Logo. The feedback has been
overwhelmingly positive and I appreciate that so many families felt that this change was needed to reflect the
ambition we have for every one of our students. This week we have also been able to safely open our canteen

alternatively refer to the letters section of our website. Thank you again for all your support, for the positive
feedback as well as the constructive feedback to move our school forward. I am always reassured that parents
feel confident to reach out to me to discuss issues that they feel strongly about. Without this feedback from our
parents as a key stakeholder, we will not be able to move forward as a school. I thank our parents personally
for this.

Sharing Feelings Sharing feelings can be very daunting, but it can be really useful. Our thoughts and feelings can become overwhelming at times, and it’s useful to share how we are feeling to help make sense of things. It’s important to choose someone you trust, a parent, friend, teacher or other adult. Find a time when they aren’t busy and you’re not going to be interrupted. They may not have all the answers, but saying things out loud or writing them down can make us feel better.
Talk to someone you trust if you need to – it’s good to
