Many businesses that provide services and products to low-income people in developing countries look for additional talent to join the team. Sourcing affordable talent holding a new perspective, able to perform quickly and ready to transfer knowledge between markets is a challenge of many start-ups, growing businesses and supporting organizations alike.
Since 2004, edge has provided such talent to over 140 Social Enterprises in Latin America and Asia. edge’s Growth Business Associate program places 30-35 young professionals from emerging markets annually – providing an important service to the businesses development and a strong learning environment and structured induction to the job market of Impact Business to the Associates.
In 2013 edge is looking for 20 more businesses and supporting organizations from Latin America and India to join the business cohort of the program. The deadline for applications to receive an Associate in August 2013 is in May.
