Creating a Review SectionTo enhance your learning experience we
have added a unique feature to Pegasus Direct; the ability to
create a cus-tomized review session. To view the playlist, click on
the Playlist icon (Figure 9). The Playlist (Figure 10) displays the
time code and topic for each segment within the module.
As you identify areas of weakness while viewing the eCourse or
want to note topics of particular interest, simply click on the R
to bookmark that segment for review. Pegasus Direct will recall the
sections you have bookmarked, creating a customized review session
for later viewing.
During the review, use the playlist to navigate through the
bookmarked topics. You will also be able to access unmarked
segments during the review period. For each module, you are given
75% of the initial viewing time for review (i.e. for a two hour
module you are given an additional 1.5 hours of review). Your
remaining review time will be displayed on both the Account Summary
and the Control Bar.
Viewing Time
There is no expiration date on the eCourse. You can view it on
your schedule, at your pace. After you have com-pleted both the
viewing and review time of a module, your Account Summary (Figure
11) will indicate Time Expired for that particular module. It is
rare for participants to use all of the optional review time,
however, if you need additional instruction on a particular topic,
we can reset the module(s).
To have your module reset, email:
[email protected].
Important: Pegasus Lectures reserves the right to not reset
modules if the eCourse is being accessed by multiple IP addresses
or there are excessive reset requests, indicating multiple users
are accessing the course.

CME CenterThe CME Center is accessible from the My Pegasus home
page (Figure 12) and serves to centralize all of your CME quizzes
and certificates. Issued certificates are listed by date. Clicking
on Access CME Quizzes (Figure 13)will take you to a listing of all
of your purchased modules with the CME status of each activity
(Figure 14).
Once a module is viewed in its entirety, the CME link becomes
active with the prompt ‘Start CME Quiz’. The number of quiz
attempts and your highest score are recorded. The Credits column
indicates the number of eligible credits per module. Once you have
successfully completed the CME quiz, the ‘Select’ prompt becomes
active.
If you wish to have one certificate for the entire set of
modules, wait until all of the “select’ buttons are active and then
click ‘Process selected CME’ only once (Figure 14). If you wish to
obtain an individual certificate per module (not recommended unless
you only are processing a few modules), you can select the desired
module(s) and then click on ‘Process selected CME’.

Technical TipsFor optimal viewing, we recommend that you:
1. Make certain that you have high speed internet connection.
Dial up connections and some wireless con-nections may be too slow
to stream video smoothly, creating an interrupted presentation. If
the bandwidth of your internet connection is too low to stream
video (jerkiness or stuttering of the video), contact your internet
provider to verify that you have adequate download speeds to watch
streaming video.
2. Close all other internet applications.
3. Close other programs, especially any programs that may tax
your computer’s resources.
4. Use a headset for optimal audio quality.
5. Set the screen resolution to larger than 1024 x 768. If you
cannot set the screen size to larger than 1024 x 768, part of the
player may not appear on screen, in which case you can use the
“full screen” mode so that the videos are sized appropriately. Note
that if you use the “full screen” setting and your monitor setting
is too large, the video may begin to appear pixilated.
