P r i n c i p l e o f O p e r a t i o nBulk contaminants and slugs diverge from the gas stream uponentering the scrubber's first stage and are collected in the sumparea below the PFDBS. Following a tortuous path the gas andentrained contaminant enter the scrubber's second stage wherePECOFacet vane technology utilizes inertial impaction to separatecontaminants from the gas stream. The removed contaminantthen gravity drains into the sump via the drain leg, preventing re-entrainment.

Vane mist eliminators effectively remove water, hydrocarbon liquid andtypical pipeline liquid mixtures.
Utilizes both the PECOFacetWave Plate and Hook Vane Mist Eliminators
APPLICATIONS
• Compressor Suction • Plant Entrance • Well Head • Contact Tower Inlet & Overhead

Following a tortuous path the gas andentrained contaminant enter the scrubber's second stage whereCyclotube separators combine centrifugal, pressure vacuum, andflow vector forces to effect highly efficient separation while velocity scouring inherent in Cyclotube dynamics precludes fouling. The removed contaminant is collected in an independent secondstage sump. Low differential pressure cyclotubes are available forpressure sensitive applications.

Cyclotube technology is specifically designed to enhance separation ofcontaminants that foul, plug or creep through vane and wire mesh misteliminators.
Use Cyclotube Technology for Trouble free removal of the following contaminants:• Brine • Lube oil • Wax • Glycol • Asphaltenes

P r i n c i p l e o f O p e r a t i o nThe principle of operation is similar to that described for the 95SVCyclotube scrubber, except there is no first stage pre-separationof bulk contaminants and slugs prior to entering the Cyclotubeseparators. The gas and contaminant directly enter the scrubber'sCyclotube separators which combine centrifugal, pressure vacuum, and flow vector forces to effect highly efficient separation whilevelocity scouring inherent in Cyclotube dynamics precludes fouling. The removed contaminant is collected in a sump compartmentlocated below the Cyclotube contaminant ejection ports. Lowdifferential pressure Cyclotubes are available for pressure sensitiveapplications. This Separator should be used for medium liquid andsolids loadings.
P r i n c i p l e o f O p e r a t i o nThe principle of operation is similar to that described for the 95SVvane scrubber, except there is no first stage pre-separation of bulkcontaminants and slugs prior to entering the vane separator. Thegas and entrained contaminant directly enter the vane which utilizesinertial impaction to separate contaminants from the gas stream. The removed contaminant then gravity drains into the sump. ThisSeparator should be used for light liquid loading with minimal solidcontaminant loading.

All PECOFacet Vane Mist Eliminators are built in accordance with ASME code forunfired pressure vessels, national board stamp and local, state and province require-ments as specified.
Standard PECOFacet Vane Mist Eliminators are of welded carbon steel bodieswith either carbon steel or stainless steel vane elements.
