Just next door is Eco Store, filled with stylish reusable bags, soy candles, solar chargers, plantable seed paper, and more. At the exit, one of our hosts will give you a souvenir balloon as a reminder to keep our earth clean. Each balloon is made of biodegrad- able latex that contributes to the preservation of tropical rainforests. Riders of all ages get the grand tour of Eco Park by our train conductor. Learn all about the rides and the technology that makes them the most eco-friendly in the world. During the day, the train is powered by solar panels and at night, our Li-Ion batteries kick in. Eco Train produces three times less CO2 emission than a car and four times less than a plane. Choo! There are dozens of horses to choose from, and each one represents a great national forest. The horses are made of forest stewardship council certified wood and were hand painted with Auro USA® paint. At night, the ride is brought to life by hundreds of brightly colored fluorescent lights, powered by the rotating power of the ride itself. Ride and be merry! Windy Wheel sits in the center of Eco Park and provides an environmentally friendly option for energy to all of the other rides in the park. It acts just the way a real windmill would and has saved the park millions of dollars in annual energy costs. Windy Wheel is the perfect ride for parents who need a place to relax while their children ride Skyline Coaster over and over again! It conserves energy by being the first ever ride to be powered by pressurized water. Much like Super Skee Ball, every quarter spent on the ride is donated to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Maryland, to support research on our local waterways. Every quarter spent is donated directly to the Amazon Rainforest restoration efforts in South America. All the money from Super Skee Ball has been used for the rehabilitation of previously forested land and has helped fund the efforts to rescue thousands of endangered species. You’ll reach up to 200 feet in the sky and get a short glimpse of the whole park until the first drop takes you soaring through the air at 80 miles per hour. Skyline Coaster is a classic wooden roller coaster with five epic hills and many twists and turns that will leave you wanting to get right back in line! Players are challenged to hit targets worn by rubber ducks as they zigzag through a forest maze. Each gun is made from recycled plastic and their pellets are made from recycled foam. Experience the challenge of hitting three targets to win the grand prize. Eagle Wings is the tallest ride in the park. Thrill seekers will enjoy a 235-foot climb and then descend in full swing at 45 mph. Magnets create kinetic energy used to crank riders to the top, making this the only non-electric powered swing ride in the country. The tank, made from 80% recycled plastic, conserves energy by eliminating the use of commercial power. Windmill pumps extract water for the tank, and levers are used to maintain and release seat suspension. One strike is all it takes to experience an extreme dunk.
