Problem

“Ecotourism” is largely used for marketing and not really understood as a values-based operation.

Page 9: ECHO-Tourism - Team 6 Action Plan

Proposed Solution

To create a platform (website) where tour operators are able to rate themselves and provide information about their sustainability initiatives; and for guests to be able to validate it through a rating and feedback mechanism.

It is connection that makes us care. We care more for a friend than a stranger.

We want to bring people closer to nature, but we also have to be mindful of the footprints we leave.
