This product is not a thick epoxy…This product… has the viscosity of

This means that you cannot get it off… even with a hammer… take our challenge…you will be impressed. It will not fall off….flake off or crumble like other patch materials. Typical Driveway Cracking:
As you can see in the photos below…this is the type of driveway cracking that our products are deigned to repair. We have developed systems for stabilizing , filling and coating the surfaces that will give you many years additional life out of your driveway or walks. Many times these have had short term repairs done in the form of caulking materials that can be purchased at your local home improvement store… unfortunately these simply do not last.
Our process, as you will see in the next few slides… starts with the preparation of the cracks and spalls. These are cleaned up with diamond tools, and prepared to receive step one of the repair materials.
As you can see, we install Stainless-Steel cross-pins to stabilize these cracks – such that the slabs again act and move like one slab.
Cross-Pinning of Driveway Cracks
This cross-pinning process stabilizes the cracks, cleans out any loose or deteriorated concrete and prepares slots to accept stainless rods that will be embedded in the repairs. These you will never see again.
At the same time we grind and level any high spots or tripping hazards in the concrete up to about an inch in height. Larger than this must be filled.
“Ecco – FastBond “ Repair Polymers Installation:
As can be seen in these photos…the material we repair the cracking with, penetrated deeply into the concrete…. And as it cures…..the material expands above the cracks.
This expansion allows for the grinding operations to leave the surface dead-flat with no visible sign of the cracks that used to be in the slab.
Finish Grinding Operations:
Polymer ‘Fast-Bond’ concrete repair materials are ground smooth at the crack locations…leaving a totally flat concrete surface – ready for the finish coats.
Grinding is completed with a combination of hand machines and walk behind grinders.
Finish Grinding Operations:
Low Spots and tripping hazards are filled….
…then ground level… and finished to match existing control joints.
All control joints are then filled with urethane to prevent moisture from getting under the slabs and causing more damage.
Final Coats Are Applied: Final Finishes consist of a durable and flexible polymer coatings – Our ‘BondCote II’ followed by a broadcast layer of finely crushed aggregate into the surface and rolled into the coating to assure good adherence and a smooth finish.
Final Coats Are Applied:
Final aggregates are applied followed by two coats of clear sealer and allowed to cure 48 Hrs. before drive is opened to traffic.
Finished Restored Project:The Completed driveway with the sealer prevents staining from oil drips or more Mag-Chloride damage.
Looks like new !
