(張,2005;Buancuzzo, 1993)。Leeman、Fontaine、King、Klein及Ratcliffe(2003)指出變換待產時的姿勢有助於待產的婦女產痛的減輕。因此,Nichols及Humenick(2000)與Simkin(1995)建議待產婦女可採用的姿勢有散步(walking)、站立並靠在伴侶的身上(standing and leaning forward on partner)、跳慢舞(slow dancing)、撲(the lunge)、直立式坐姿(sitting upright)、坐馬桶(sitting on toilet)、半坐臥(semi-sitting)、坐搖椅(sitting, rocking in chair)、膝跪姿(hands and knees)、側臥(Side-lying)及蹲姿(Squatting)等。這些姿位皆可保持待產婦女腰部以上直立,且有助益於調整胎兒去因應骨盆徑線與緩解腰
摩、熱敷、陪同呼吸等(圖三)。⑵身體向前傾(lean forward over the ball),並緩慢搖擺身體,向前靠膝,用頭,雙手和胸靠在生產球上形成膝跪姿(hands-and-knees position)(圖四),此姿勢相當有助於胎頭的旋轉(Sutton & Scott, 1996)。⑶產婦將上半身倚靠在生產球或伴侶身上,如同半坐臥姿勢(semi-sitting),下半身仍保持蹲距姿勢,除了有助於休息及放鬆外,

Experiences Applying a Birth Ball to Help a Parturient Woman in Labor

ABstrAct: This paper is designed to describe the nursing experiences of applying a birth ball to help a parturient woman in labor, who had experienced labor pains and was accompanied by her husband. On the basis of family-centered nursing, on October 8, 2005, the authors taught, this couple various positions to be adopted using the birth ball to help the woman deliver her baby with minimum pain and to help the husband to accompany his mate in a strong and positive way. In this way, eventually, the woman deliv-ered her baby, safely and smoothly, experiencing the whole process satisfactorily.
