Specially designed inner contour of the valve body ensures that only the loading occurs precisely where it’s required. This feature enables the use of effi cient actuation together with long service life as a result of low material stress. Optional liner backing materials are injection moulded which providing an exact profi le to support pressures up to 16 Bar.

Top Works conform to EN/ISO5211.

The 1 piece shaft is carried in multiple bearing sleeves; this ensures disc stability and controlled defl ection under extreme loads and pressures. A 1 piece shafts also makes it the valve of choice for high cycle applications.

Self adjusting shaft seal, maintained by packing gland arrangement and Belleville spring washer assembly.

Hardened long series bearings are included to provide guidance under high loads as well as maintaining lowest possible point contact load.

Seat retaining ring protects seat from abrasion and erosion. This type of design allows for quicker fi eld replacement of seating material.

Valve disc geometry is double eccentric resulting in lower break torques, reduced contact forces which subsequently leads to increased valve life. All sealing surfaces are mechanically micro fi nished to provide tight sealing even with metal seated option.

Taper pins provide connection between the disc and shaft. This solid connection means that high cyclic loads can be comfortably handled by the HP series valve.

The EB-DA series quarter turn actuator provides robust and compact actuation of quarter turn valves. Uncompromising design results in the use of scotch yoke drive mechanism, which undoubtedly provides the most eff icient and effective torque characterist ic for the operation of butterf ly valves. With high opening and closing torques, low air consumption rates and increased accuracy when coupled with a posit ioner, the EB-DA series wil l cleanly and progressively operate your Ebro butterf ly without the jerky and hesitant operating methods others are known for. The EB-DA is avai lable in 10 sizes and covers a torque range of 27-8410Nm. The interface connections conform to ISO5211.

MSK SWITCH BOXThe MSK type switch box is compact and robust with a minimum of potential points of ingress. Simply designed from strong die cast al loy, the MSK provides feedback functions for al l pneumatic quarter turn actuators. Integrated Micro switches 2SPDT providing “open” or “closed” signal with options for addit ional switches, inductive / proximity sensors. Suff icient space and terminal connections within the enclosure are provided for your instal lers to terminate addit ional external inputs such as solenoid valves within the one housing. The standard IP rating is IP67.

NSK SWITCH BOXThe NSK type switch box has been designed with increased internal dimensions providing Ebro to increased f lexibi l i ty to incorporate a “site standard” sensor ( i f required). ELECTRIC ACTUATOR E SERIESThe Ebro “E” series electric actuator provides eff icient operation of al l qtr turn valves. The compact, highly robust design provides al l the inclusions usual ly found mult iturn electric actuation. Bal l bearings on al l rotating components together with permanently lubricated gearcase provide long, trouble free service l i fe. Designed to suit al l common power supply voltages of 24V, 240V and 415V the E series actuator is suited to on/off or modulating functions. Ebro’s unique “module” system al lows ful l user f lexibi l i ty together with a host of control, feedback and alarm functions. Al l sizes are equipped with manual over-ride hand wheels and a standard enclosure rating of IP67. The “E” series actuator, manufactured in Germany, provides high rel iabi l i ty in al l industrial and municipal actuation applications.

STAFSJÖ KNIFE GATE VALVES

HGHG is a bi-directional valve with a through going gate, part icularly well suited for severe operating condit ions such as slurr ies and where there is a r isk of clogging. The valve is modular design and consists of a two piece body in stainless steel or cast iron. The gate is supported throughout its ful l travel. Twinpack™ packing material ensures t ight gland seal and high operational rel iabi l i ty.* Suitable for temperature -20°c to 180°c.* Avai lable Sizes: DN80 – DN800. * Avai lable pressure ratings 6 and 10 bar.

MVThe MV is designed for a wide range of applications, the universal genius offers uni-directional seal ing with the possibi l i ty of reverse pressure in most sizes. The valve is modular design and consists of a one piece body in stainless steel, cast iron or carbon steel. The MV valve can be supplied in a broad range of seating and gate materials to best suit your application. Stafjso’s Twinpack gland seal ing is uti l ized and together with rounded gate edges, non rising spindle providing gate al ignment, the MV valve wil l outperform al l others. Furthermore, the MV is equipped with removable retaining ring which makes it a truly repairable knifegate valve solution. BVAThe BVA is a robust, ful l bore, bi-directional seal ing valve. The valve is a modular design and consists of an epoxy coated one piece body. The valve offers a mult itude of f lange dri l l ing possibi l i t ies. Fitted with our Twinpack™ packing system which ensure t ight gland seal and high operational stabi l i ty, the BVA valve is the valve of choice for Waste water and sewage applications. * Suitable for temperature -20°c to 120°c.* Avai lable Sizes: DN50 – DN600. * Avai lable pressure ratings 6 and 10 bar.

XVEThe XV valve is a ful ly lugged bi-directional valve capable of handling high differential pressures. The XVE offers ful l bore design with excel lent f low characterist ics which incorporates a self cleaning feature. Al l XVE valves have ful ly guided gates for 100% of valve stroke. Coupled with addit ional support via the operator stem, r igid actuation support structure and twinpack, gland packing, the XVE wil l set new benchmarks in regard to gland tightness. Precision manufacture and careful attention to design detai l ensures that the XVE is a class leader in it’s f ield of application. Furthermore, the valve is equipped with removable retaining rings which make it a truly repairable knifegate valve solution. PACKING GLAND DESIGN

The packing gland remains the single largest source of rel iabi l i ty issues associated with Knifegate valves. At Stafsjo/Ebro we consider tolerancing and surface f inishes as crit ical contributors to performance. The gland fasteners are torqued to a specif ic load which results in control led packing deformation with constant low operating forces. The Gland securing fasteners are posit ioned so that equalised pressure is maintained via TwinPack™ packing. The superior design priciples of inboard packing ensures seal ing surface areas are maximised and preload forces applied where they are needed most. Together with the most r igid actuation support structure in the industry, gate al ignment and squareness during operation are always maintained.

STAFSJO UNIQUE GLAND BOX PACKING

TwinPack™ consists of a si l icone rubber core surrounded by graphite-impregnated Teflon braids and Kevlar f ibres. The si l icone core design results in a f lexible and elastic packing. Kevlar f ibres are wound in to maintain the original section of the packing and increase wear resistance.
