PTSA NEWS…PTSA NEWS...PTA NEWS Letter from the President Jane Lol l is , PTSA Co-President Michelle Matters, PTSA Co-President
Dear Eastside Family,
We hope you are enjoying the final weeks of a wonderful summer break! There are some days when our families wish it would last a little longer, and other days when we are ready to get back to school and our friends!
The PTSA is gearing up for a great year! There is much to be accomplished, and we are looking for volunteers in all areas. Please take time to complete the PTSA Vol-unteer Opportunities Form found in this newsletter. If you are interested in serving as a Committee Chairperson, some of the open committee positions include: Legisla-tive and Volunteer Coordinator. A list of PTSA Committees can be found on the EHS website/PTSA. Keep in mind that a “filled” committee position does not mean that we do not need your help or expertise. Paren-tal involvement creates a successful East-side! So if you see a committee that inter-ests you, please contact us.
We encourage you to become a PTSA member. This year the National PTA is able to partner with businesses and negoti-ate special discounts, fundraising opportu-nities, and other valuable benefits exclu-sively for PTA members. The National PTA is working diligently to establish relation-ships with additional Member Benefits Pro-viders to provide you with even more ex-
clusive benefits in other categories. Please use the enclosed PTSA Membership Form to become a PTSA member.
Lastly, you can help Eastside every time you visit Bi-Lo or Publix by using your part-ners’ card at checkout; a percentage of your purchase will be donated to Eastside.
The Bi-Lo Boosterplus program runs from August until May each year, so you must re-enroll your BONUSCARD every year. Pre-printed link cards for Eastside are available in the Front Of-fice. The next time you shop at Bi-Lo and use your BONSUSCARD, give the pre-printed link card, along with your Bonus Card to the cashier; the cashier will link your Bonus Card to Eastside.
Publix Partner cards are available in the Front Office. The Publix Partner card is pre-linked to Eastside. If you already have a Publix Partner card for Eastside, you may still use it; there is no re-enrollment.
Enjoy the remaining days of summer! We look forward to meeting, serving, and working with each of you this year! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us: Jane Lollis at 419-5291/[email protected] or Michelle Matters at 630-3194/[email protected].
See you soon!
