There are times when people are unable to receive the Body and
Blood of Christ, through illness or due to their personal disposition.
Even though some may not receive ‘sacramental’
Communion, all are united in some way by
the Holy Spirit. The traditional idea of
‘spiritual’ Communion is an important one to
remember and reaffirm. A deep
spiritual communion is possible even when we
do not share together the Sacrament of the Body
and Blood of Christ. While watching on Live-Stream or on Catholic TV - when com-munion time arrives - say this prayer. The Priests have your intentions when celebrating
Mass.

Parish Offertory Dear Parishioners: During this time of uncertainty I ask that you not forget your Parish Offerings. I understand that some of you are currently laid-off and some struggling to make ends meet. You continue to be in our prayers. For those who are able, I ask you to consider giving as you usually do to our weekly offertory collection. You may give via the US Mail, dropping it off in the Parish Office Mail box or from your home computer via online giving. Reluctantly., I have taken important steps to reduce the costs associated with the day-to-day operations of the Parish and School. I have had to lay off most of our Parish Staff and some of the employees of the school. I have stopped heating the Churches and Parish Office Building, while making sure they are kept safe from extreme cold. These and many other steps will be in place until it is safe to welcome you back to your Church. These measures are needed now so that when we return to our normal church life - our Parishes and School will be strong and financially secure. During this time of anguish and unpredictability, we put our hope and trust in God and in one another. We are in this together. Please know that the priests remember each of you daily in our prayers. And although you cannot be with us in our Church building we hope that the Mass we celebrate each day at 10AM on our website brings you comfort, peace and joy. Please continue to pray for all the sick and all those affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. As we remember also all those who care for the sick at this time. God Bless You! Fr. Casey, Pastor
