EMMHCN - Objectives• Regular updates from experts on national policy and strategy,

relevant to mental health commissioners• Network with mental health providers to showcase good ideas for

wider adoption• Access information about evidence based approaches/models of

mental health care and support• Understanding opportunities for service design, innovation and

quality and efficiency (QIPP) in future contracts through effective commissioning including emerging PbR and Clustering

• Access examples of best practice in commissioning and learn from mental health commissioners currently in PCTs and local authorities to support CCG-led Mental Health commissioning

• Network and learn from your local clinical peers, build new networks

• Identify ideas that can improve services for service users especially in a community setting
