government to help small businesses prepare to deal with hazard events

Conduct assessments and implement code and policy changes, especially for flooding

Improve infrastructure for sewage, water, stormwater and address high nutrient loading into natural systems

Educate the public and elected officials about economic and mitigation benefits of conservation lands

infrastructure are protected

Protect residents by discouraging development in high-risk areas
