What is an earthquake?
An earthquake is when two plates rub Together And causes the ground to open up and can also cause violent shaking.
NZ shake out
The NZ shake out is when we have an earthquake drill. We have this so we know what to do when an earthquake strikes everyone shouldparticipate whether we are at work, school or just at home. you never know when an earthquake will strike.

Drop: you drop and find the nearest stable thing to go under.Cover: once you have found the stable thing such as a desk you take cover under it, You do this to protect yourself.Hold: hold on to the legs of the desk to hold it down.
