Task Earth is often referred to as a system; a complex whole that is produced by various interacting parts. Paragraph 1: Introduction In this paragraph you will introduce what your topic is and give some background information that links to the body paragraphs ( paragraphs 2,3 and 4). This thesis statement gives just enough background information to help your audience understand what this topic is about.
Paragraph 2: Focus on the Facts For this section, explain how your system phenomenon works, where it occurs on the Earth, why it occurs/happens and when it occurs/happens.
Paragraph 3: Fields of Study In this paragraph, identify and explain the types of scientists that study this particular system phenomenon. Include information about patterns they see, what they have to do to research and study this topic.
Paragraph 4: Sphere Connections Information for this paragraph should include what sphere this topic is connected to and how it interacts or impacts other spheres.
Paragraph 5: Conclusion An effective conclusion reminds the reader of the central point of the thesis statement. Instead of summarizing, use your conclusion to reflect on the essay. Remember that a conclusion, like an introduction, should be a fully developed paragraph. An effective conclusion reminds the reader of your topic and the information in the previous paragraphs \, but should not restate it word for word.
