Promoting research outputs, innovation and impacts through the capacity development and professionalisation of a globally connected and skilled group of research managers
Directly supports key objectives of the Erasmus+ Key action 2 programme:
➢ Supporting the modernisation, accessibility and internationalisation of HE in the partner countries (improving management practices = global competitiveness)
➢ Support partner countries to address the challenges facing their HE institutions and systems
➢ Contribute towards the improved collaboration between EU and partner country HEIs
➢ Promote people-to-people contacts and inter-cultural awareness and understanding

STRENGTHENING OF COLLABORATION, LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISATION IN RESEARCH MANAGEMENT
• MoU between the associations to be signed here in Brussels
The purpose of StoRM Fellowships is to:
• Build capacity and contribute to professional development of RMA;
• Support the efforts of higher education institutions (HEIs) to improve their research outputs and impact through the provision of good research management;
• Share understanding of different contexts (collaboration between Research Offices; Identification of mutual research interests for facilitating collaboration)
STRENGTHENING OF COLLABORATION, LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISATION IN RESEARCH MANAGEMENT
• Ten incoming (to EU) and ten outgoing (to Southern Africa) fellowships available
• 14 days maximum, includes travel
• SToRM Group Fellowships are encouraged:
- 2-5 institutions to set up a program to host a group of up to five fellows.
- Meeting with specialists at different levels, from Department to Institutional with topics that is regarded being of mutual interest.
- Broad approach, including meetings with Deans or Head of Institutions, Study Offices, Financial Offices, Library, visiting more institutions etc. can add value to a program.
