Dear Supporters of Eastern Michigan University, Our student-athletes’ success is at the heart of why we do what we do and your investment in their success is paying dividends for Eastern Michigan University. Building off of a memorable 2013-14 which saw the accomplishments of our student-athletes recognized by the Mid-American Conference, we received the highest honor of winning the Dr. Carol A. Cartwright Award for excellence in academics, athletics and citizenship. This recognition has reaffirmed our commitment to providing a first class student-athlete experience and serves as a testament that your investment is a great one. When you make a contribution to EMU Athletics, you share in the pride we are building and have profound effect on helping us get better every day.

Thank you for your ongoing support and the opportunity to serve our student-athletes.

The successes and accomplishments of our athletic programs serve as a tremendous recruiting tool for enrollment and a catalyst for philanthropy to all areas of EMU.

"The Cartwright Award is a unique award in that it recognizes excellence not only on the field of play, but also in the classroom and in the community. To be selected by its peers for this award is a tremendous honor for Eastern Michigan University. I applaud the student-athletes, coaches and entire staff for this special honor."

-MAC Commissioner, Dr. Jon Steinbrecher

time Eastern Michigan University has received
