From our Aerie PresidentBrothers and Sister’s, September is here
already! Our Virginia government has been working on a plan;
schools may be opening soon, and the buses will be in traffic
again. The Corona Vaccine has started human trials and hopefully
will be available soon. Summer is winding down, and the temperature
will start easing up. Happy Labor Day weekend!! I wish everyone a
safe and wonderful weekend. There will be an aerie BBQ cooked up by
our fabulous Trustee’s for our members. So come on out and and
enjoy, and please bring a side! I would like to thank, and commend
our brothers for cooking and serving the Sunday Brunches. You guys
are the “September Superstars”. If you feel like a home cooked
breakfast come in on one of the scheduled Sunday’s. It is a great
breakfast! Well done to all who have volunteered! Our Aerie
calendar is starting to fill. Please keep your ideas coming. Have a
great Sep-tember, and try and stay “Cool”. “Success is not final,
failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” ~

Eagles News
From our Auxiliary PresidentIt’s hard to believe that summer is
ending. With school starting virtually, September will look
different from years in the past. We are planning a fun evening for
the Ladies Anniversary on October 10. We are planning a murder
mystery dinner party... Murder at the Grand Gatsby Speakeasy. It’s
a roaring 20’s themed party set at the height of prohibition in a
1920’s speakeasy with loads of black-mail, deceit, and murder.
Theme dress is requested but optional so get your 1920’s flapper or
gangster attire out and come have some fun.We are have the Bill and
Pat Wild Annual Cornhole Tournament on October 3 to support the
Aerie Building fun. Come out for the fun!The Eagle Riders are
planning a Halloween Party on October 24th. Bring a dish to share
and dress in costume for the contest. Should be a fun night!Hope to
see you all soon at the Aerie,Diana Tinsley, Auxiliary
President
