We’ve created the most luxurious safari tent in the world. Our mobile safari tent (MST) was designed to rove through the wilderness. The MST has 3 configurations:

Accommodation mode which boasts 100 square meters of wooden decking, a hot tub, a king sized bed with space for an extra single bed (or up to three singles), shower and flushing toilet. The carbon footprint is zero. The Rover is totally solar powered. Container mode allows us to stow the wheels and trailer arm and ship it anywhere in the world. Our towing mode allows us to tow the Rover through the Wilderness.

We conceived, designed and created the ‘box with wheels’ format ourselves, introducing something genuinely innovative to African safaris, and indeed the world.

Having been towed to its location, each Rover ‘folds out’ to present a fully-functional ultra-luxury tent, a king-size bed (or up to three singles), a hot tub, flushing toilet and 100 square metre deck. A team of six can convert the Rover module into a fully-functioning luxury tent in just a few hours.

Hi-tech lightweight solar panels (derived from yacht technology) provide constant power for lighting, hair dryers, a mini fridge and recharging devices (we use a backup generator in the highly unlikely case of there being no sunshine). Fresh water is stored in pressurised aluminium tanks and heated using a solar heat exchanger.

ACCOMMODATION MODE

• 100 square meters of living space• Aluminium 2500 litre fresh water storage tanks

are built into the chassis structure with 24 volt pressure pump

• Hot water is supplied through Helio solar water systems

• Jabsco marine flushing WC with low water usage is connected to black water tank

• Power supply: 4 pc. 120 watt flexible lightweight solar panels provide power to 4 maintenance free batteries. A victron inverter converts 24 volt DC to 240 volt AC 50 hc.

TOWING MODE

• This configuration allows the MST (Mobile Safari Tent) to be towed with a suitable vehicle on any standard road and due to the soft suspicion it also has off road capability.

• The trailer arm is folded down from its storage and locked into place with support brackets. Electric brakes on the rear wheels with an electric controller give a safe ride in most conditions.

CONTAINER MODE

• This is for transporting the MST on a flat bed or standard container truck trailer. The bath deck and trailer arm and rear deck fold and lock up inside. The main decks fold and lock onto the right hand side.

• LOA 6 meter• With 2.44 metert• Height 3.5 meter• Standard container lock feet• The structure allows for hoisting with spreader

bar only.
