Greenlight Cleveland

• A way to engage Cleveland’s youth in an environmental movement• All high schools in the Cleveland area will be invited to form volunteer teams of at least

two students and one adult• Each Saturday and over school vacations teams would exchange CFL’s for incandescent bulbs• New Orleans model would be basis for Cleveland

Goal to change out 200,000 bulbs!Potential environmental savings:

82 million pounds of CO2 75 million KWH

$9 million savings on electric bills (remember one main cause of poverty is lack of money!)
